Man accidentally burns woman to death

The Ajumako Enyan Essiam District Police has arrested a man for accidentally burning a 40-year-old woman to death.

The suspect, Kwabena Sika is said to have gone to the house of the deceased with a gallon of petrol while she was cooking.

The petrol accidentally caught fire, burning both the woman and the suspect in the process.

The Suspect, Kwabena Sika is expected to be arranged before court after he  recuperates from the burns he suffered from the accident.

Narrating the incident to Citi FM, the Ajumako District Police Commander, DSP Emmanuel Kwabena Owusu disclosed that, “he was pouring the petrol into a small gallon and he warned the suspect to be very careful. It was rather buy accutane unfortunate and all of a sudden the petrol caught fire and it started burning the woman”

He added  that attempts by the Ghana fire service and the Ghana Police service to rescue the woman failed.

“The police and the fire service rushed to the scene and they were sent to the catholic hospital in Esikuma and when the woman was admitted while she was admitted at the hospital and she died”

Speaking on the whereabouts suspect, DSP Emmanuel told Citi News that “the suspect has been treated and discharged. We have arrested him and cautioned him and we have given him a reliable surety because he also got burnt.”
