Three students from the Law Faculty of the Central University College have been crushed to death in an accident in front of the school’s main gate at Miotso near Prampram in the Greater Accra Region.
One other student, who was driving, is said to be in critical condition at the hospital.
The accident occurred when an articulated truck rammed into the VW Passat car the students were in.
According to a student from the university, Paa Asante, the accident occurred around 10:30pm Tuesday night.
He noted that the steering wheel of the students’ car got jammed in the build up to the collision.
The police have since deposited the bodies of the deceased persons in the morgue.
