The Driver to the Keta Municipal Director of Education has hanged himself at his residence at Keta-Alagbatakpo.
The body of Emmanuel Zigli was found on Tuesday evening in his room with a rope around his neck.
He is believed to be in his early 40s.
It is unclear what might have pushed the driver to take his life.
An Investigator at the Keta Criminal Investigations Department (CID), confirmed the incident said investigation is ongoing.
The body has since been deposited at the Mortuary of the Keta Municipal Hospital.
