Some churches in the national capital Accra, have beefed up security in the wake of recent alerts over possible terrorist attacks.
In a recent leaked terror alert, it was confirmed that a possible terrorist attack on Ghana was real, following the confessions of a suspected Malian terrorist being interrogated for his role in the attack on Cote D’Ivoire.
According to the report, Ghana and Togo are the next targets after the attacks in Burkina Faso and Cote d’Ivoire.
Fear has gripped some Ghanaians following the revelation. Even though some believe churches are not likely to be targets for the terrorists, some of the church leaders say they must still take precaution.
Citi News’ Zoe Abu-Baidoo visited some churches and has came through with the report below.
