Days after the Presidential Candidate of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, called on the Electoral Commission to probe the funding of political party campaigns in the name of accountability, his PPP has asked all presidential candidates to boldly account for the number of children they have.

Dr. Nduom has consistently championed transparency and accountability among political leaders. Last month, he filed his 2015 tax returns at the office of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) in Accra as part of his civic responsibilities.

But in a Facebook post on Saturday April 18, Dr. Nduom’s PPP took their accountability advocacy to another level by showcasing photos of two of his children and captioned it, “Ghana’s leaders from Left to Right: Lawyer Chiefy Papa Wassa Nduom, Dr Nana Kweku Nduom and Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom himself (AKA Edwumawura).”

The post also explained that two other children of the successful entrepreneur, were not available to be part of the photo when it was taken.

The party in the caption asked all other presidential candidates to account for their children especially when there are rumors that a particular Presidential Candidate has about eighteen children.

“Dr. Egya Nduom and Dr Aba Nduom were absent when this picture was taken. Where are the children of the other Presidential candidates? We need to know them especially those with 18 children. It should all be part of the accounting to the people Kabbalah!!!”
