Chelsea striker Diego Costa is available after completing his three-match suspension.

John Terry, Eden Hazard and Loic Remy remain out because of injuries, but Nemanja Matic and Gary Cahill have returned to fitness.

Vincent Kompany is likely to miss out for Manchester City with a calf problem but he could return on Tuesday.

Raheem Sterling is back in training after a groin injury, although Saturday’s match could come too soon.

Jonathan Pearce: “Chelsea should be celebrating Manchester City’s run to the Champions League semi-finals. It virtually ensures that English clubs will stay ahead of Italy in Uefa’s coefficient table for a couple more seasons at least – guaranteeing the Premier League four places at Europe’s top table.

“Now, though, Chelsea have a point to prove. Playing for their future under Antonio Conte, they’ll be determined to maintain Guus Hiddink’s unbeaten home league record. But they look jaded again.

“City need to ensure a top-four finish of course. Aguero needs to start scoring regularly again – he has two in nine in all for club and country. Kevin De Bruyne, brilliant against PSG, is ready to show Chelsea what they let go.”

Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink: “City have had a beautiful week after getting in to the semi-finals. It’s good for them to be in the last four and it’s a reward for their efforts over the last seasons.

“Their team is getting into a certain flow of success and results so they’ll like to continue it. It’s encouraging for them and for us it is another reason why we expect very strong opposition.”

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini: “We now have three games of the Premier League before we continue in the Champions League.

“The important thing is it depends on us what we do to be in the third or fourth position. We cannot talk more about the other two positions because that doesn’t just depend on what we do.

“I am not going to prioritise any competition. We don’t need to prioritise because we are going to play these three games before we return to the Champions League.”

No player has scored more Premier League goals in 2016 than Sergio Aguero's total of 11.

MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

  • Chelsea have lost just one of their last 17 meetings with Manchester City at Stamford Bridge (W11, D5).
  • They also won 5-1 when the teams met in the FA Cup in February at Stamford Bridge – although City fielded a weakened side.

Chelsea

  • Chelsea’s defeat by Swansea last weekend ended their 15-match unbeaten run in the league – Guus Hiddink has not lost two league games in a row as a club manager since February 2004 whilst at PSV Eindhoven.
  • The Blues have never lost at home in the league during Hiddink’s two spells in charge (W6, D7).
  • However, they have drawn six of their seven league games at Stamford Bridge during his second spell.
  • They have gone nine home matches without a clean sheet in the league – the club’s longest ever such run in the Premier League. The last time they conceded in 10 consecutive top-flight home games was between April and November 1970.

Manchester City

  • City have won consecutive Premier League games for the first time since October. The last time they won three in a row was at the start of the season when they won their opening five games.
  • Manuel Pellegrini’s side have lost just one of their last seven Premier League away matches (W3, D3, L1).
  • They have conceded just two goals in their last five league matches. Prior to this run they had let in eight in three games.
  • Kevin De Bruyne has now had a hand in 27 goals in all competitions for City this season (15 goals, 12 assists) – a joint-high for the club alongside Aguero.
