It was all smiles at the premises of Citi FM as two lucky listeners on Wednesday, walked away with surprise birthday gifts as part of Citi FM’s Lucky Birthday Surprise promotion.
The two were picked as the latest winners in the promotion that rewards listeners whose birthdays are exactly the random dates announced by the hosts of The Traffic Avenue.
It turned out to be a belated birthday for one Obed Aduamoah Annor whose actual birthday was on March 3, and he was presented with a Nasco blender and kettle along with two movie tickets to Silverbird cinemas.
The other winner, Nadiah Nelson, is warming up for her birthday on August 8 and she was gifted a Nasco Kettle and a smart phone.
About the Lucky Birthday Surprise promotion
Citi FM’s drive time show, Traffic Avenue, prides itself on making listeners happy. The station in one of it’s innovative surprise packages, is thus rewarding listeners celebrating their birthdays in the ‘Lucky Birthday Surprise’ promotion, which started in April.
The Lucky Birthday Surprise promotion is influenced by the pleasant fact that the producer of the Traffic Avenue, Apiokor Seyram Ashong and the show’s co-host, Jessica Opare Saforo, begin and end the month of April with their birthdays on April 1 and 30 respectively.
On the show, Jessica and co-host Philip Ashon, will call out random dates and if that date happens to fall on a listener’s birthday, the listener can call into the Traffic Avenue for a special birthday surprise.
