Actress Yvonne Okoro on Tuesday, April 12, donated a borehole to the people of Wungu, a town in the Walewale area of the Northern region.

The donation was a move to get the people of Wungu to have access to potable water, who have to usually walk for about three kilometers daily in search of water.

She was accompanied by her very good friend Sandra Ankobiah as well as some well-wishers.

In Tamale, she visited the palace of the Tamale chief, Naa Dakpena Alhassan.

According to her, the whole experience was humbling and fulfilling.

Yvonne Okoro is one of Ghana’s leading actresses. She is also an entrepreneur, philanthropist and the CEO of Desamour Company Limited.
