Citi Sports sources close to Asante Kotoko say that the patron of the club, Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu II, is yet to take any decisions in relation to the club’s managerial setup after a long meeting at Manhyia Palace on Monday.

The meeting was called by the King to find a way of settling matters in the club after a hectic week of controversy following the management’s decision to ask head coach David Duncan to “step aside” last week Sunday.

That move was necessitated by the club’s 1-0 loss to Aduana in Week 6 of the Ghana Premier League.

Information from the meeting indicates that David Duncan was in also in attendance and it is understood that he spoke on the incidents which have displeased him during his time at the club.

The management was also given a chance to state its case against Duncan.

According to Citi Sports sources, the Asantehene has decided to remain quiet on any decisions taken in relation to management.

A full public announcement will be made on today, Wednesday.
