Kojo Yankson is a broadcast journalist, an author, a motivational speaker, and the host of the Super Morning Show on Joy 99.7FM. Since he took over the show in April 2014, Kojo has marked up several milestones.
In addition to winning CIMG Radio Programme of the Year in his first year at the helm of the Show, Kojo was also the first journalist to venture into Nigeria at a time when they were battling an Ebola outbreak, reporting from the nation’s isolation centres, and following the trail of the virus across the country to Port Harcourt.
Known on air as The Morning Man, Kojo Yankson has crafted a unique magazine show that commands the attention of 6 million Ghanaians every morning, with his unique blend of witty commentary, insightful analysis, hard-hitting interviews, and conscience-pricking social dialogue.
Anything can happen when the Morning Man is in the hot seat. Scandals have been exposed, families have been reunited, lives have been saved, funds have been raised, and – on one particularly unfortunate occasion – a woman has died from Cholera, all live on the show that runs five days a week, from Monday to Friday.
