The Eastern Regional Minister, Mavis Ama Frimpong, has pledged the support of the Eastern Regional Coordinating Council for the ‘National Stop Crime Campaign’ being championed by the Crime Check Foundation (CCF).
The CCF, led by Ambassador Extraordinaire of Prisons, Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, subsequently appealed to the Prisons Ambassador to commit to a regional launch in their campaign.

She was particularly happy that the Ghana Education Service (GES) has given the green light to the CCF to screen Anti-crime documentaries in pre-tertiary institutions across the country.
She lauded Mr. Kwarteng for initiating the ‘National Stop Crime Campaign’ in Accra next month, and urged stakeholders in crime prevention to support the initiative.

On his part, Mr. Kwarteng promised to begin the campaign in the Eastern Region, after the launch in Accra, to sensitize people on the need to refrain from criminal activities that could send them to prison.
