The Upper East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed has charged the Bolgatanga Central constituency executives and the campaign team to work assiduously to win the Bolga central seat in honor of the party’s late Regional Chairman, Adam Mahama.

Mr. Murtala gave the order at the inauguration of the Bolgatanga central constituency campaign team.

He said the campaign team together with the rank and file of the party must ensure that party wins the home constituency of late Adam Mahama.

“This is the home constituency of late Chairman Adams and it suffice to say, it serves as a challenge to all of us and most importantly the campaign team whose sole responsibility is to assist in winning the seat. Bolga Central seat is a must win seat in honor of our departed chairman Adams. We have grieved enough and it is time to use that grief, sorrow and uncontrollable anger as a reservoir of encouragement and motivation to work assiduously to making our parliamentary candidate Mr. Rex Asanga the next Member of Parliament for Bolga Central and Nana-Addo president of the Republic of Ghana,” Mr. Murtala stated.

Mr. Murtala asked the campaign team to embark on house to house campaign, preaching the message of change that will bring prosperity and an end to the current hardships Ghanaians are going through.

Mr. Murtala stated that, “Our utmost priority is making sure we put in the necessary programs to appreciate more votes to increase our seats in the region and make Nana Addo president of Ghana come November 7 to save  Ghanaians from the unprecedented hardships under the NDC led John Mahama administration”.

He appealed to disgruntled members of the party to stop the internal bickering, name calling and the unnecessary criticisms and rather allow the party’s structures to function effectively.
