Citi News’ Hawa Iddrisu reports that fire officers are struggling to find access routes to where the fire is causing the havoc in the market.

She indicated that the fire started at about 5: 30 this morning.

Just about two months ago, more than 1,000 live birds were consumed by fire while hundreds of shops were destroyed in that same market.

Fire guts Spintex Apartment

This fire incident occurred barely a day after fire gutted a shop and some apartments on the Spintex Road around the Kotobabi traffic light in Accra.

The fire, which started on Thursday evening around 6:30pm, destroyed several properties running into thousands of cedis.
