Two people lost their lives in an accident that occurred on the Akosombo-Tema road on Wednesday morning.
[contextly_sidebar id=”KYDrZTEuAKo5ytpgN2gsT1sZ0LjylLLZ”]The accident which occurred at 6:30 am, around the Shai Hills Resort Hotel, Involved a Toyota mini bus travelling from Ashaiman to Koforidua.
According to the Tema Regional Commander of the MTTD, Chief Supt. Oduro Amenning, the accident occurred when the rear side ball joint detached from the vehicle causing it to veer off the road into a ditch.
One passenger died later at the Hospital whiles the driver died on the spot.
The deceased, a male and a female, are currently at the Tema General Hospital Morgue whilst the injured, numbering about 13, are receiving treatment at the same hospital.
