The Vice Presidential Candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia seems to have incurred the wrath of government for showing pictures of pupils of the Kperisi Basic School in the Upper West Region studying on the floor.
Despite being rebuked by the Member of Parliament for the area, Rashid Pelpuo, for ordering 500 desks for the pupils, Dr. Bawumia has also been taken on by a Deputy Minister of Education, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.
Speaking on the Citi Breakfast Show on Wednesday, Mr. Ablakwa insisted that Dr. Bawumia has no moral right to post the pictures of the school kids on his Facebook page.
He further accused Dr. Bawumia of asking the kids to sleep on the floor to enable him take photos just for him to score cheap political points.
