Photos from Accra’s nearly 2-hour rain

After months of dryness, Accra experienced about a two-hour rain on Tuesday, preceded by a rather windy storm that nearly caused havoc to some homes and property.

Although many expressed excitement about the rains which have already been experienced in other parts of the country, some parts of the national capital, were negatively affected.

In the pictures below, the infamous Odawna River nearly overflowed its limit.

And Accra’s hugely uncontrolled garbage, were visibly seen floating on the water.
