The Ghana Football Association has ordered Black Stars coach Avram Grant to return to the country following his extended leave from December last year.

Grant has not been in Ghana since December on leave but he was a recent guest on Sky Sports Television to give his perspective on the search for a new manager for Chelsea and the move has left many observers very unhappy.

According to reports, the FA is displeased with the Israeli’s prolonged stay because of the impending CAN 2017 qualifier between the Black Stars and Mozambique later this month.

The GFA’s Communications Director Ibrahim Saani Daara has revealed that Grant has been notified to return to Ghana.   Observers of the Ghana Premier League have expressed their unhappiness at the situation because Grant promised to follow the local league and draft outstanding players into the Black Stars.

However, his absence could scupper the chances of some players who have started well in the league.
