Kakai hit maker, Shatta Wale, has released the music video for his hit single “Kill Dem With Prayers”.

The controversial Dancehall artiste, with huge following that goes beyond the ghettos, where he is much hailed, has several songs to his credit for this year alone.

The video, which was shot by Lex MacCarthy, is already receiving plays on several platforms and affirmative reviews from industry players.

The ‘Kill Dem With Prayers’ track, which has some of the scenes shot in the church, encourages prayer as one of the tools to fight ones enemies in life.

Shatta Wale disqualified from 2016 Ghana Music Awards

Despite releasing several hit songs in the year under review, the man who once won the artiste of the year at the event, has been disqualified as a nominee for the 2016 Awards to be held in May.

The decision by the Board of Ghana Music Awards against the artiste, born Charles Nii Armah, was announced at a news conference last Tuesday at the World Trade Centre in Accra.

Theresa Ayoade, the CEO of Charter House, organisers of the awards, told journalists Shatta Wale doesn’t qualify for this year’s awards unless he completes the process of officially apologising for maligning the VGMA Board.

Shatta Wale engaged in a heated argument with Charter House last yea, after it accused them of cheating musicians in the country.

The company was offended by the comments and sued him for defamation.
