JCI Dansoman, the premier Local Organization of JCI Ghana referred to as THE PACESETTERS, on 13th February 15, 2016 made a donation to the Dansoman Polyclinic situated in the Dansoman Community.
The items donated included dippers, T-rolls, hand sanitizers, dettol, wipers, detergents, body powder, creams, Soaps, Parazone, liquid soaps, boxes of water, drinks and noodles and other items.
The authorities of the Dansoman Polyclinic were grateful of the gesture exhibited by JCI Dansoman by JCI – Dansoman and made reference to the times when the Board was undertaking the need assessment of the clinic.
They thought it was one of the many promises which never came to light by other organizations in recent past. They saw the difference in the various institutions and organizations that have promised to assist them in diverse ways.
Like Oliver Twist, they asked for more and seek to partner with us in executing our Health and Wellness Project for the year but asked to see more of JCI in coming to their aid.
“As young active citizens you have contributed your quota to community development but do not just end here, do more” the Chief Accountant retorted.
Miss Tricia Ivy Karikari, the 2016 Executive Vice President (EVP) of the LOM in an interview with the media, mentioned that as part of the love season, we the members of JCI Dansoman thought it wise to celebrate the Valentine’s Day with the sick to make those donations to the Clinic in order to put smiles on their faces. However, as part of our contribution towards the achievement of the SDG 3, this donation is the first phase of our Health and Wellness project in the Dansoman community.
She appealed to all Stakeholders and like-minded institutions for their support in creating a sustainable impact in the Dansoman Community.
