Over 50 people are feared dead in the accident that occurred on the Tamale-Kintampo road in the Brong Ahafo Region on Wednesday night.
Reports say a Kumasi-bound Metro Mass bus collided head-on with a truck carrying tomatoes believed to be traveling from Navrongo.
The accident according to an eyewitness, saw the MMT bus engine falling out due to the impact, and trapping some passengers underneath the bus.
Details of the collision still remain sketchy as the police are yet to comment on it.
