On the eve of Valentine’s Day, Huawei Technologies Ghana, manufacturers of premium devices, gave three people the opportunity to win sleek Huawei P8 Lite devices, in the “Huawei Love Vals Day Promo.”

The Huawei Love promo, an on-air competition, run from Wednesday February 10th on YFM and required listeners to answer questions about the Huawei P8 Lite smartphone. The promo offered contestants an opportunity to win the Huawei P8 Lite smartphone for their partners and loved-ones.

“Huawei believes Valentine’s Day is an opportunity to show love to a special one and nothing says ‘I love you’ more than the elegant and stylish Huawei P8 Lite for that person who means the world to you,” said Robin Sun, Country Manager for Device Business at Huawei Technologies Ghana.

“The Huawei Love Val’s Day promo, has given the winners an opportunity to give their loved ones, something special on Valentine’s Day,” he added.

At the end of the competition, three people namely: David Boye-Doe, a form four student at  Ghana International School, Ivan Animley, a final year student at Central University College and Belinda Y. Odzah, a final year student at University of Ghana, won Huawei P8 Lite devices as presents for their loved ones on Valentine’s Day. The YFM Weekend Mush Up, Big Breakfast Show and Y Campus Express (YCE), drove the competition.

Huawei P8 Lite is designed for simplicity with a 5 inch High Definition display offering a wider viewing angle, features both 13 megapixel rear & 5 megapixel front cameras which offers users the opportunity to enjoy taking ‘selfies’ and see the beauty of nature. Users can enjoy taking pictures at night with super low light photography. Huawei P8 Lite, which is the ideal smart phone for the youth and slightly older generation, is a reasonably-priced device, but it however does not compromise on either style or quality.

Commenting on his reward, Ivan Animley, one of winners said, “I am very grateful to Huawei for making my day and giving me this wonderful P8 Lite as a present for my girlfriend”. “Honestly, I wasn’t sure of what to give her on Val’s day but now Huawei has given me something she will really be happy with,” he added.

Huawei Technologies Ghana will introduce the much anticipated Huawei Mate 8 and Huawei G Power onto the Ghanaian market in the coming weeks. All Huawei devices purchased from authorized Huawei dealer shops nationwide, come with 12 months warranty and after sales service, however terms and conditions apply.
