The vetting of the first batch of the President’s nominees for various substantive and deputy ministerial positions took off on Monday, February 9, with some interesting highlights.

The Minister-designate for the Upper East Region, Albert Abongo, could not tell the ethnic makeup of the region he is being tasked to head, after  he was asked to give the specific number of ethnic groups in the area.

Listen to him wiggle around the the question.

The entire vetting process will end on Wednesday.
