Organised Labour is expected to meet government today over the recent increment in petroleum products and taxes.

The meeting was scheduled for today after the earlier one held with the Employment and Labour Relations Minister, Haruna Iddrisu to have the increments reversed was postponed.

[contextly_sidebar id=”mkuGQ3S3bk90QZ360anVYs10mJhPcahL”]Labour is asking government to among others, withdraw the Energy Sector Levy which they believe has resulted in an astronomical and unjustified  increase in prices of petroleum products.

The meeting today will determine whether or not Organised Labour will go ahead with its demonstration to get governent reduce utility tariffs and fuel prices.
