Subah info solutions Ghana limited has revealed an elaborate plan to expand into Africa, after signing a contract with the Guinean government.

The contract which was signed in November last year is expected to be operational for a period of five years, within which period Subah would deploy its expertise to help the Guinean government collect taxes and revenue from mobile telephone operators in that country.

It is expected to deploy its Revenue Assurance and Tax monitoring system there.

Explaining the deal to  Citi News the General Manager, Business Development for SUBAH  Redeemer Kwame, indicated that the company is in talks with some other African countries for similar projects.

“We are currently talking to 8 African countries, the first contract with Guinea was signed in November we believe that the next ones are going to follow”MR Kwame indicated.

According to him the goal of the ICT firm is to be number one in their field in Africa and that provides them the motivation to do more. The challenges faced by African countries in monitoring mobile telephony companies and getting the required revenue is enough motivation for Subah Info solutions to expand their activities into such markets.

He revealed that the success chalked in Ghana in monitoring such activities which lead to a tremendous increase in revenue for the state is enough proof of their capabilities which they hope to successfully sell outside Ghana.

He gave the firm assurances that Subah which is a wholly owned Ghanaian company will deploy the same business model of developing local capacity in the various African countries.

Subah’s Revenue Assurance and Verification Service helps revenue mobilization institutions to ensure that all revenue generated by organizations are correctly billed or accounted for, and that the process designed to support the revenue assurance function are working efficiently.

This they do by providing state of the art telecom revenue auditing and verification solutions which have a distributed and scalable multi-threaded architecture supporting multi-vendor and multi-technology with multiple protocols and efficient interfacing.

According to the Mr Kwame their goal as they also seek to expand into Africa is to enhance government revenue through the application of appropriate technology to mitigate and eliminate leakages.
