At least three persons are feared dead and several others severely injured after a Benz bus, descending the Klefe hills, crashed into two taxi cabs in Ho in the Volta Region.
According to eyewitness, the collision happened when the Benz bus approaching the Ho Township ran into two taxi cabs; one making a U-turn and the other overtaking it.
They told Citi News, some of the passengers were seen ‘flying’ from the vehicle onto the road when the impact occured.
“So far about 2 or 3 people died and 8 have been rushed to the hospital. Some had their heads crushed,” another eyewitness told Citi News.
The accident occurred late Saturday afternoon opposite a Goil fuel station near the Ola Girls Senior High School.
The survivors of the collision are currently receiving treatment at the Ho regional hospital.
