Novotel hotel now Accra city hotel

Novotel hotel has re-branded to Accra city hotel. The switch from Novotel hotel to Accra city hotel took effect on January, 1st January, 2016.

According to the four star hotel  the move ‘is to enable us fully concentrate on developing a first rate Ghanaian international hotel brand.

The hotel incorporated in 1986, according to the a statement from its Board Chairman Emmanuel Folson is Ghana’s first international hotel.

It says it intends to refurbish its guest rooms, lobby and other public areas this year to increase guest comfort and choice significantly.

The hotel over the years has seen some fierce competition from other hotels stationed close to it.

It currently faces competition from Movenpick hotel and  the newly constructed Kempinski hotel.
