Kasapreko continues to extend its position as a leader in innovation within the beverage industry as it launches its new purified drinking water “Awake”, a charity driven bottled purified water focused on changing lives in Ghana. The first of its kind.

With its launch, Awake Purified Drinking Water highlights Kasapreko’s ability to couple its award winning products with its corporate social responsibility across communities in Ghana.

Awake’s tagline “One4Life” underpins this initiative, as each bottle purchased will have a significant impact on someone’s life. Through this unique partnership venture with its consumers, AWAKE’s One4Life campaign multiplies the impact of each Ghanaian’s individual efforts towards those less fortunate as Kasapreko has committed to donating a percentage of each bottle sold towards the One4Life Fund, from which the charitable donations will be made.

At the launch of Awake, the first charitable institution identified is the Ghana National Cardiothoracic Centre at Korle Bu. Kasapreko has pledged, through the One4Life Fund, to pay for surgery and heart transplants for patients with serious heart conditions, and for whom the cost of such life-saving medical care is beyond their economic means.

Commenting on the new initiative, Director of Water and Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSDs) at Kasapreko, Eunice Adjei Bonsu said “For us at Kasapreko we are aware of the needs in our society and we always look for opportunities to make a positive impact in people’s lives. We are pioneers in the beverage industry in Ghana and our uniqueness has now been extended to the water industry where Awake will serve to improve the lives of people while impacting the communities they live in. Drink Awake and save a life”.

Certified by the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), Awake Purified Drinking Water, which has its ultra-modern production plant at Kasapreko, is treated through the process of micro-filtration, reverse osmosis and sterilized by UV treatment. Awake purified drinking water is your perfect way to stay hydrated.

Awake Purified Water is available for purchase at all supermarkets and retail stores and comes in two bottle sizes, 500ml and 1.5 Litres.
