Hiplife artiste Eugene Ashie, popularly known as Wisa Greid, is likely to face prosecution after the Christmas holidays following his act of indecent exposure at Citi FM’s December to Rememba Concert last Thursday, December 24.

He is expected to report to the Police Tuesday for investigations to be concluded.

[contextly_sidebar id=”T4gcooj8OA2IgL2KBxgZBx9Hpr57PLlO”]Wisa was invited by the Police last Saturday to assist with investigations into the circumstances that led to him, flashing his penis on stage while performing his hit song “Ekiki me.”

According to the PRO of the Accra Regional Police Command, ASP Afia Tenge, Wisa Greid has been granted bail.

She said, “We have taken his statement and also have granted him bail for him to reappear when the holidays are over for prosecution.”

She further stated the case is still under investigations with the corresponding prosecution to follow.

“It is still under investigation. That is why we have taken his caution statement and it is just for us to try and investigate and prosecute him accordingly,” she said.

The following day, he apologised to Ghanaians in a statement describing his obscene act as “rash and irresponsible.”

The management of Omni Media Limited, owners Citi FM in a statement also condemned his actions.
