The second edition of Citi FM’s ‘Cook for Mama’ competition, 2014 ended with Mr. Robert Anyimadu emerging as the winner. He was adjudged winner after he prepared boiled yam with garden egg stew.
For his prize, he took home GHC 3000 plus a comprehensive treatment at the Allure Spa in the city as well as products from the sponsors.
The first runner-up, Mr. Luther Nii Armah Quaye took home GH₵2000 and some products from sponsors. Mr. Fred Tetteh, who was second runner-up, took away GH₵1000 plus products from the sponsors.
Mr. Daniel Amankwa Yankey and Mr. Samuel Tetteh placed fourth and fifth respectively.
The five fathers were selected out of hundreds of essays written by their children on the lesson their mothers have taught them.
The men were tasked to prepare the favourite dishes of their wives.
The Cook for Mama promotion is a Citi FM initiative to reward mothers on Mother’s Day.
