A meeting organized by the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) turned violent on Thursday after some members of the Assembly fought over the decision to postpone their sitting allowances.
Sources indicate that members of the Assembly were angered by the decision of the leadership of the AMA to postpone the payment of their allowances after long hours of sitting.
Others were also concerned about the amount itself.
