Agent of Black Stars coach, Saif Rubie, has dismissed claims that his client Avram Grant is being courted by Swansea Football Club to be their new coach.
[contextly_sidebar id=”4nn00qSlXTVNHwWuGEiX1ONJlXgOtsum”]The Swans sacked their coach Garry Monk on Wednesday and reports in Wales had stated on Thursday that Grant was being considered for the position.
But on Thursday Rubie said that Grant was still committed to the Black Stars via his Twitter handle which read:
“For the record just to say as Avram Grant’s agent that he is happy as the coach of @ghanafaofficialBlackstars. @SwansOfficial not in touch. Swansea City not in touch.”
Grant is officially on leave in the United Kingdom with his family.
