The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has left for Berlin, Germany, to attend a conference of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) in Germany.

Mr. Asiedu Nketiah is expected to speak on the theme: “Climate Change and its impact on Africa” at the five-day (December, 9 to December, 13) conference which will be attended by other social democratic parties across the world.

His speech on climate change will come as the ongoing 2015 United Nations climate change conference in France looks to achieve a legally binding and universal agreement on climate, from all the nations of the world.

In the absence of Hon. Asiedu Nketiah, a Deputy General Secretary in-charge of operations, Koku Anyidoho will be acting as the General Secretary of the NDC.
