The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is reviewing the suspension of two of its newly elected parliamentary nominees, Nii Amasah Namoale and Sam George, the party’s Deputy General Secretary, Koku Anyidoho has revealed.

[contextly_sidebar id=”mTZsICYIz4eyiRuKbjTlTlBMK84ZX5Tl”]“The Functional Executive Committee (FEC), of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is by this release, putting it out that, the issues relating to Nii Amasa Namoale and Sam George, as presented by the Greater Accra Regional Office of the party, are under review per the rules of practice,” a statement signed by Anyidoho noted.

The Greater Accra branch of the NDC announced the suspension of the La Dadekoptopon and Ningo-Prampram candidates for gross misconduct in a statement dated Thursday, December, 3, 2015.

The two accused the regional executives of manipulating the elections to cause their defeat although they both turned out victorious at the end of the voting.

In a related development, the party’s National Executive Committee  has upheld the decision of the Ashanti Regional executives, to suspend Gloria Huzey, Parliamentary Candidate for Ejisu-Juabeng for what it describes as “unacceptable comments in relation to the re-appointment of a District Chief Executive.”

The matter has been referred to the National Disciplinary Committee for “expeditious adjudication.”

Meanwhile the incumbent MP for the La Dadekotopon Constituency Nii Amasa Namoale and Sam George, the Ningo-Prampram Parliamentary Candidate, would be given a hearing when they meet the party’s Disciplinary Committee at a later date.
