The first single off the much-awaited EP of internet sensation Adomaa has been released online.

Traffic Jam is the first release off Adomaa’s first full original project, Afraba the EP, which is slated for release in January 2016.

The song has been released on modzaka.com, itunes and soundcloud.

It is a groovy, feel-good song with a Fela Kuti-influenced afrobeat rhythm, and is intended to provide a little relief from the pressures of life with its positive message, very relatable verses and catchy hook.

Adomaa has a lot of fun on this track, and hopes to translate her uncomplicated perspective and appreciation for the simple things of life to listeners in down-to-earth lyrics that are a mix of Pidgin, English, Twi and Yoruba. It is produced by Reynolds, ‘The Gentleman,’ who is the overall producer of the EP.
About Adomaa:

The Ghanaian-Nigerian Joy Onyinyechukwu Adomaa Serwaa Adjeman (stage name Adomaa) is a young, positive and passionate, multi-talented singer, actress and model.

She is bringing a refreshing new surge of unique artistry to the world of Ghanaian music, with her personal style – an exclusive mélange of jazz, soul and afrobeat, with a voice that may sound sweet and light, but has the ability to reach into the depths of a listener’s soul.

As more than just an entertainer, Adomaa’s desire is to personally touch people’s lives through her music as well as create an individualistic blend of vintage sounds and Afro pop culture that relates to as many people as possible.
