The Convention People’s Party has announced it will open nominations for presidential and parliamentary aspirants on December 1, 2015.

Some of them are: the immediate past Chairperson of the party, Samia Yaba Nkrumah, the 2012 Presidential candidate, Dr Michael Abu Sakara Foster, Lawyer Bright Akwetey, among others.
Meanwhile, voices from the grape vine indicates that the immediate Past General Secretary of the Party, Mr. Ivor Kobina Greenstreet is likely to enter the race.
According to the CPP, it will hold a congress in mid January 2016 to elect the flag bearer of the party.
The CPP held its last congress to elect National executives in Sunyani on September 19th.
