A 30-year- old palm wine tapper, Victor Nornoo, and Kofi Duho, a 40-year-old auto mechanic, who allegedly shot and killed a policeman in Ho in the Volta Region have been arrested.
The Policeman was said to be on night guard duty at a gas station when he was attacked.
Volta Regional Police Commander, Peterkin Yentumi Gyinae, told journalist on Friday that the two were traced to their hideouts at Penyi and Dzodze respectively in the Ketu North District.
He said the two were arrested with two locally manufactured pistols found on them.
Commander Gyinae further stated that the suspects had been put before court while investigations continued to locate the missing police rifle.
