According to Professor Avoke, the University of Education has recently seen an increase in the number of students because of the introduction of innovative and competitive programs.

“The increase in student numbers can be attributed to the fact that more innovative and competitive programs that are market-driven, which leaves the lecture room to the teaching field and industry have been introduced. We have also widened our teaching and delivery to cover a wide range of students who otherwise may not have been able to access university education,” he said.

Professor Mawutor Avoke also encouraged graduates to uphold good work ethics in their workplaces, stating that, “there is nothing like Ghanaian standards. Always operate at your very best and achieve the best for yourself, your organization and the nation at large.”

“Be mindful of those social vices which could ruin your future. As you step into the world of work or return to your workplaces, always remember to aim at hardwork by maintaining quality in all activities you’re involved in or you embrak upon,” he added.
