Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan has passed a late fitness test and is set to start for Ghana in the second leg of the World Cup Qualifier against the Comoros Islands in Kumasi.
Gyan has been nursing injuries since the Afcon in Equatorial Guinea and has played a marginal role in the team since that period.
[contextly_sidebar id=”I8JTIkqygcJYJDdQRSUOl77nlafRNHmX”]He participated fully in the team’s training sessions despite coming on as a late substitute in the first leg.
In the build up to the match, the Shanghai SIPG forward has promised that the Stars will be ruthless to make up for the poor performance away from home.
Gyan currently has 49 goals for the national team and will be hoping to reach the 50 goal milestone in the match.
