The Akua Boatemaa studio of TV Africa was on fire when Kwabena Besa Zorwornu a 12year pupil of Ashaiman JHS took to the stage in the ongoing children’s show; “Amazing Child” season 6.

When Sarkodie’s illuminati (instrumental) started, little did we know that the young boy who entered into the competition as a dancer was going to rap not in English but in Ewe. Everybody was wowed and therefore it came as no surprise when his performance was adjudged the “Best Act” for week three (3).

Apart from Kwabena, there were a host of other great performances of Ghanaian Popular Music and Traditional Dances. Bisa Kdei and Sarkodie seem to have great influence on these children as most of them did songs by these great musicians. NERO X was in the studio to watch Naana Horthman perform his song ‘OSEY’ and he was very delighted with the performance of the Young girl. The dancers in the competition treated the audience to some powerful and well choreographed Ghanaian traditional dances. The children were simply amazing and a delight to watch.
Unfortunately however, next week is eviction week and four (4) of the twenty (20) participants will leave the competition.
Congratulations to Kwabena Besa Zorwornu for winning the best act of the week and good luck to all the children next Saturday. You can watch Amazing Child every Saturday at 2pm on TV Africa.
