Managing Editor of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, has denied claims that government commissioned Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ investigative piece on corruption in the judiciary.

Anti-corruption campaigner, Martin Amidu, has in his latest epistle disclosed that late President Mills’ government tasked Anas to investigate the judiciary following demand for proof on allegations of corruption against the institution.

[contextly_sidebar id=”Uu4Ix3FQo4BKFvS5SDT7YN8vwsYDFBQe”]“…The undercover investigation that led to the judicial corruption exposé was commissioned by the Government of Ghana and has its genesis in the acrimonious relationship between the Government and the Judiciary on the assumption of power in 2009 by the Government and the constant demand by the Judiciary for proof of judicial corruption from Government and its associates,” he added.

But in  a Facebook post, Anas’ boss, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, insisted that “Martin Amidu is wrong! Government did not commission Anas’ investigations into Judicial Corruption!”

He further dared Martin Amidu to substantiate his cliam with evidence.

“If Martin has contrary evidence, let him simply provide it,” he stressed.
