Kenpong Travel and Tours (KT&T) will fly ace high life musician, Daddy Lumba (DL), boxing legend, Azumah Nelson and a Director of KT&T to Brazil, for the 2014 World Cup, Kennedy ‘Cappuccino’ Agyapong, CEO of KT&T, has confirmed.

To the KT&T boss, the initiative forms part of his company’s plans to provide quality entertainment for the many soccer fans who would be flying on his outfit’s ticket.

He said the duo would be there for the entire duration of the soccer festival to entertain both Ghanaians and foreign nationals.

“We want to offer our clients the best of packages, hence this initiative. Lumba has been a very good friend and has decided to support the Black Stars in his own small way by entertaining soccer fans during the tournament,” the former Kotoko director said in an interview.

Meanwhile, Lumba and his fellow high life heavyweight ,Amakye Dede, performed at the Miklin Hotel on Saturday at a concert code named: ‘Thank You Tour’.

And, one of the high profile personalities who graced the event was Kenpong, who was featured in DL’s hit track video ‘Ye die woho be towo’ (Yen tie obia) which literally means do what pleases you and don’t pay attention to your detractors.

The video, shot at Kenpong’s sleek residence, captures his luxurious fleet of cars including a customised Maybach coupled with a beautiful ambiance and ladies in the background could be linked to the success story of the new album.

The album, ‘Awosuo’ is barely four months on the market but it is enjoying massive airplay play in night clubs, pubs, funerals, on the streets and market places.
