TV3’s Nana Aba Anamoah was on Sunday spotted at Old Trafford during Manchester derby.

About a month ago, Anamoah sparked a Twitter storm when it was revealed that pictures she tweeted suggesting she is at Old Trafford during a match were not hers and that she was not at the stadium during the game.

A staunch supporter of Manchester United who enjoys a fair of bit of trolling was not spared ribbing and mockery on social media by Ghanaians.

Though she explained that the entire thing was a prank and apologized, she was still suspended by the network for what the station described as her involvement in “online and photo theft.”

A statement signed by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Augustus Dickson on Saturday said: “After preliminary investigations internally, and in accordance with TV3’s own commitment to the highest level of professionalism, Management has decided to take Nana Aba Anamoah off air until further notice.”

Nana Aba has refused to make any public statements about her suspension. She would speak at the appropriate time, a close friend of the TV personality said.

Many have described the station’s sanctions as disproportionate as the incident did not occur while she was on duty.

However it seems Nana Aba Anamoah is enjoying her time off-air, she was spotted at Old Trafford on Sunday during the game between Manchester United and Manchester city.

Pictures of her at the game has received positive reaction on social media with many describing it as the “triumphant entry” into Old Trafford.
