The Judicial Committee set up to investigate allegations of corruption leveled against some seven high court judges is struggling to find one of the judges, Ajet Nassam, to serve him with a notice to appear before it.

He has been given up to Thursday to appear before the committee.
Citi News’ Franklin Badu Jnr reported that the committee has had to adjourn its sittings since Monday due to the absence of Ajet Nassem.
Franklin Badu Jnr added that Ajet Nassam’s lawyer admitted on Monday that his client was “nowhere to be found.”
He said Ajet Nassem who was also expected at the sitting on Wednesday did not also show up at the time of his report.
“I haven’t seen Justice Ajet Nassam around. He was expected to appear before the committee today. He has been given a last chance to appear before the committee tomorrow [Thursday]. So the committee I’m sure was unable to sit fully because of the failure of Justice Ajet Nassam to appear before it,” Franklin added.”
Meanwhile, Investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, has appeared made appearances at the committee since Monday.
The seven suspended High Court judges are Justices Ajet-Nasam, F. Opoku, Ernest Obimpeh, Ohene Essel, Ayisi Addo, K. Essel Mensah and Ivy Heward-Mills (Mrs).
Retired Justices Yaw Ansu Gyeabour and Mohammed Ahmed Mustapha, who were also captured in the investigative video, are being investigated by the police.
Every judge has been given five days and a total of 30 hours to prove their innocence. They are also to cross-examine Anas; whose Tiger Eye P I team uncovered the biggest scandal to hit the Judiciary.
The 34 judges, magistrates and 146 members of staff of the Judicial Service, police officers and state attorneys were captured in a two-year investigation allegedly taking bribes to undermine justice.
