On Saturday, some of the nation’s most creative fashion designers will present the fruits of their imaginations to fashion lovers at Citi FM’s Expressions of Accra.
The event, which comes off at the Alisa Hotel, will feature Sarah Christian, MSimps, MAKSI Clothings, Naa Lamley Kouture, Chapter One, Horseman Shoes and Trap Shoes.
Speaking about the event, Programmes Manager of Citi FM, Jessica Opare-Saforo, assured attendees that on Saturday night, “… I’m sure that Creativity will be at its peak, people will witness some of the finest ideas manifesting through clothing and fabrics from.”
This year’s event, which is the third edition, has been dubbed, Expressions of Accra: Fast and Furious.
It will guarantee an exhibition of ‘fast growing & furiously stylish’ urban fashion trends.
Expressions of Accra is held to give young and budding fashion designers the chance to show what they can do.
The energetic Noella Wiyaala, the mysterious alternate rock band Dark Suburb and the versatile Okyeame Kwame are billed to perform and comedian DKB will also be there to provide some rib-cracking jokes.
This year’s event is sponsored by textile giant GTP with support from Menzbank, Kupenda condoms, 2nd Image and Black Secret Makeup.
