Black Stars held to 1-1 draw in friendly game against Canada

The Black Stars have been held to a 1-1 in their international friendly against Canada at the RFK Stadium in Washington on Tuesday.

The Canucks took the lead after Marcel De Jong drove in a shot from 35-yards out.

The Black Stars who enjoyed possession in the first half, drew level after Albert Adomah scored minutes before the first half break.

Coach Avram Grant made changes in the second half as Ghana fought to take the lead but the Canadians managed to keep the game level.

The game was part of Ghana’s preparations for the upcoming World Cup qualifying match against Comoros which will be played next month.
