Following an appeal by the Attorney General over the ruling, which vindicated businessman Alfred Woyome over the payment of a controversial 51-million-judgment debt, the Appeals court has directed both parties involved in the case to file their written addresses within the next three weeks.

[contextly_sidebar id=”fXmx3NoAmkJDlhu9uCGodhZnyaCaRlKQ”]According to the three-member Appeals court panel, the ultimatum is to pave way for a date to be set for the final judgment on the matter.

However, lead lawyer for Alfred Woyome, Christopher Koka, told the court that he has not been served with a copy of the records of proceedings before the court.

The court subsequently ordered that they be served.

Meanwhile, the court-adjourned to allow parties do the file their addresses.

Woyome was set free by a High court after battling various charges and counts of financial misappropriation.

The state is however appealing against the ruling in an attempt to seek judgment in their favour.
