Promising Ghanaian goalkeeper Felix Annan has revealed that he is keen on working harder to improve certain aspects of his game.

The 21 year old wonder kid who spent last season on loan with West African Football Academy (WAFA) from his parent club Asante Kotoko is currently with the Local Black Stars squad as they prepare for the 2016 African Nations Championship in Rwanda.

The side led by Maxwell Konadu will be hoping to turn around their less than impressive performance exhibited at the COSAFA Cup in South Africa where the team failed to pick up a single victory. The team have been in camp for close to 5 weeks ahead of their opening qualifying game against Cote D’Ivoire at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on the 18th of October.

Annan believes consistently working on his game will enable him be in top shape when he is called upon and also allows him to add new techniques to his goalkeeping arsenal.

According to him playing as a sweeper keeper is one aspect of his game he feels helps him stand out above others.

“I always view every passing day as a learning process and each and everyday I want to improve on my game.

“I try to focus on honing my skills even the ones that I am already good at.

“I know that I am really good with my feet and I am capable of playing as an outfield player if the situation requires.
“In modern day football you always have to be ready as a goalkeeper to help out your back line.

“This is just one quality but I keep working on all the other aspects of my game,” he told Citi Sports in an interview.
