The Vice Rector of the Pentecost University College, Professor K.B Omane-Antwi, says the country is in dire need of leaders with integrity who will contribute to weed out corruption and improve the country’s poor work ethics.

“The corruption and poor work ethics make a mockery of our laws and governance systems,” he noted.

His comments come at a time when the country has been hit by a major corruption scandal in the judiciary. He was speaking at the launch of the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Pentecost University College at the school’s premises at Sowutuom in Accra.

The Pentecost university college, established in 2003 with 171 students in seven (7) programmes, now runs thirty two (32) undergraduate and post graduate programmes with some three thousand one hundred and ninety three (3193) students.

The Pentecost University College in its bid to provide quality and affordable education to Ghanaians, is giving a 10% waiver on tuition to all new students for the 205/2016 academic year.

Professor Omane-Antwi also intimated that the school is giving $1,000 in scholarships to judges interested in taking their Masters of Commerce Taxation program. This also applies to workers of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
