Dredged Odaw river floods again

Barely a month after the Odaw river was dredged by private company Engineers and Planners, the river has once again overflowed its boundaries following a heavy downpour that occurred on Friday morning.

[contextly_sidebar id=”jDJzDOsiFnffTY9SKyrlPdMW6nKUjGz2″]The rains that lasted for about two hours led to the flooding of areas around the Odaw river destroying properties of residents in that area.

A visit by Citi News’ Pearl Akanya Ofori to the area showed that families had to wade through the flooded river before they could reach their homes.
