The 21-year-old Ghana defender is however likely to get his chance against Villa next weekend.
Rahman, a former Asante Kotoko and Greuther Furth defender, has been promising in his two games for the club in the UEFA Champions League and the Capital 1 cup.
He is currently on national team duty with Ghana in Washington, US.
Some analysts were worried about Baba’s move to Chelsea as according to them, he was likely to remain on the bench because Ivanovic remains Morinho’s favourite .
So far, Baba has not managed to convince the coach to field him ahead of the Serbian.
